Hydraulic Packoff Head
- Installed at the top of the BOP so that the tubing is allowed to rotate as well as pass through the expandable rubber and still allow an adequate seal
- Available from 2-3/8" to 2-7/8" Tubing sizes
- Advantages of using an Option Industries Packoff Head are
- Popular Guiberson JU rubbers are used
- It can be used when drilling and tripping
- The Guiberson JU rubbers outlast conventional rubbers
- This new style Packoff can remain on the BOP
- There is no need for removing protector and installing bolts whenever you need to clean out, drill or circulate to bottom, reducing pinch points and injuries
- Simply remove cap on top of Packoff head, install cup and Packoff rubber, then hydraulic cap and you are ready to circulate
