Our Facility
Option Industries’ top of the line Welding and Machining facility has 43,000 sq/ft of manufacturing space and 6.5 acres of yard space allowing assembling of Drilling and Well Servicing Rigs and other equipment for functionality testing. Option is conveniently located in central Alberta beside Highway 22 and a weight scale. With the combination of a large entrance for semi trucks and oversized loads, our yard space, large overhead doors and two 20 ton and four 10 ton cranes strategically situated in the manufacturing space we can handle any size of job.
Capabilities include:
- 40 ton ground anchors used for straightening Frames, Skids, Derricks and numerous other Equipment
- BOP Inspection, Repair and Recertifying facility
- With a Caustic Tank and In-House Steaming capabilities Option ensures parts are fully cleaned before a proper inspection and repair/reassembly of any components for example BOP’s, wheel groups, torque converters and planetaries
- Option is a CWB, ABSA, CVIP, National Safety Mark, TDG and a C.O.R. Certified facility with an In House Quality Assurance Program
