Option Industries Inc. is your one stop shop for all your Oilfield needs. We are a fully Certified Welding, Machining, Electrical and Mechanical Facility that also offers Engineering and Drafting with an In-House Quality Assurance Program. Option fulfills our Customers' diverse requirements in the areas of Drilling & Service Rig Modifications, Repairs and Retrofits, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Machining, and Welding with top of the line equipment, service and expertise.
Option Industries state of the art 43,000 sq/ft facility is strategically located on 6.5 acres beside Highway 22 weight scales in Drayton Valley, Alberta. We are in a position to accommodate large semi trucks and oversized loads and we offer a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service allowing us to meet our customers’ needs quickly and efficiently in accordance with our Quality Assurance Program which meets critical scheduling requirements without jeopardizing quality.
Since 2006 Option has changed its focus from mainly custom Machining & Welding to providing a one stop shop which provides Turnkey products for the Drilling and Service Rig, Gas Plant and Facility, Transportation, Construction and Mining Industries.
We offer top quality steel, stainless and aluminum welding as well as fully equipped Welding Trucks for on-site Repairs or Fabrication and Portable Line Boring for replacing worn bushings and bearing housings.
Option has eight main areas of focus:
1. Fluid Transportation
- We offer full Turnkey Builds and Retrofits for Winch, Bed, Picker, Vacuum and Pressure Trucks
- Option Industries Inc. is certified for the Manufacture, Repair, Testing, or Inspection of Highway and Portable Tanks in accordance with CSA Standard B620

By investing extensive time, energy and capital into getting all of our current certificates Option Industries can Inspect, Test, Repair, Alter and Manufacture Combination, Accumulator and Boiler Buildings, Fuel Skids and On-Highway Trucks/Trailers and Service Rigs.
Being a CAODC member we also offer fully equipped Service and Welding Trucks for Welding, Portable Boring, Heavy-Duty Mechanical and Electrical Duties 24 hours a day 7 days a week
